I haven't written a journal in a long time, so I'd like to commit this entry in admiration to some of the best Pinoy mangakas and artists that inspires me to draw like hell when I get bored (as well as a sense of patriotic pride). As a side note , these artists are those whom I think are the best, so if you're going to nag me as to why this and that artist are not included in my list, please don't bother. It's either I don't know them or I think they're shitty. Anyway, I feel kinda sad as to why some of these people aren't even recognized in the local scene. Today is a day that I will always remember. ARCHcon started off with a bang with a Yugioh unofficial duel tournament, single and group cosplay competition and a digital art competition. Unfortunately, I failed at both Yugioh duel tournament and the digital art competition. However, can't help but scratch my head on the digital art competition winning entry. Don't get me wrong; mine's not that good and there are a lot of entries that are more deserving to win than mine, but an elven girl choking a helpless elven princess isn't exactly the "clashing of good v.s evil". More like evil wins against good, if you ask me. But meh, who am I to complai

This ain't going to be long, since I am too lazy right now. I just woke up and it's going to be a long day off (Sept 3 in the US is Labor Day! XD) so I'll probably be relaxing in my comfy couch.
